ClimatePoster

We will be participating in this climate change event in Salem next week…

2 Hours – 2 Speakers – 2 Films

Tuesday, November 25th, 6:30-8:30pm at the Loucks Auditorium at the Salem Public Library

Come join us as we explore agriculture as a cause of global climate change and how we can also use agriculture, and more specifically Permaculture, as a means to help reverse climate change. This free event will have two speakers: retired educator and predominant writer/activist, John F. Borowski, and Lichen June, founder of the Northwest Permaculture Institute. There will also be two films: The Soil Solution, and Rebecca’s Wild Farm. This event will be a great opportunity for students from grade school age through college. If you are concerned about the direction things are going with our planet and climate, this could be a breath of fresh air for you. If you want to see things change but feel that you can’t do much to help being “just one person,” then this event is definitely for you. We hope to see you there. Snacks and refreshments will be provided free of charge thanks to a contribution from Lifesource Natural Foods. Big thanks to our sponsors, Straub Environmental Learning Center and Northwest Permaculture Institute.
